A 50-year-old former computer programmer of Morgan Stanley denied on Thursday that he murdered a 59-year-old cop he met through a gay dating site in April. Stefano Brizzi allegedly used technique from TV series “Breaking Bad” in which a body was dissolved in acid.

He said that PC Gordon Semple, whom he met through Grindr for a drug-induced “hot, dirty, sleazy” sex, died accidentally while they were in a sadomasochistic game that went too far. Prosecutor Crispin Aylett told the jurors in the Old Bailey in his opening statement that Brizzi, a Satanist who uses crystal meth, strangled and cut to pieces the body of Semple.

According to Aylett, when Brizzi was choking the cop, who is from Scotland, another man pressed the entry buzzer of his house in south London but told the male visitor that someone became sick in the drug party and he was taking care of the situation, causing the cancelation of the party, New York Post reports.

Days after the incident, neighbours of Brizzi complained of a revolting smell emanating from his house. Police officers who checked Brizzi found him wearing only underwear and sunglasses and a bathtub full of acid with “globules of flesh” floating.

Brizzi, an avid follower of “Breaking Bad” and a believer in the devil, watched the American crime drama’s episode titled “Cat’s in the Bag,” when a character poured hydrofluoric acid on the body in the bathtub.

He has allegedly admitted to the police killing the police officer and trying to dissolve the body so there would be no evidence of the crime which Brizzi says he did as commanded by Satan.

London police released CCTV footage showing Brizzi buying buckets in Southwark after the alleged killing of the cop. Semple has separate video showing the officer leaving the Blackfriars station to meet Brizzi, whom prosecutors believe could have cooked and ate parts of his victim’s body, BBC reports.
