Gondal man wins gold in national shooting championship

Shivbhadrasinh Jadeja (33), a resident of Gondal town in Rajkot, has won a gold medal in Clay Pigeon Double Trap Senior Men individual event in All India GV Mavlankar Shooting Championship being held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, from October 14.

RAJKOT: Shivbhadrasinh Jadeja (33), a resident of Gondal town in Rajkot, has won a gold medal in Clay Pigeon Double Trap Senior Men individual event in All India GV Mavlankar Shooting Championship being held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, from October 14.
Shooters from various states including Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh participated in the tournament.
Jadeja, nephew of the sitting BJP MLA from Gondal Jayrajsinh Jadeja, also won gold medals at state and zonal level shooting championship earlier.

He has won medals in each of the nine championship that he participated in this year. "I am now preparing for national shooting championship 2016 to be held at Jaipur next month," Jadeja said.
