Seaport District gets its first pharmacy

<?EM-dummyText [Drophead goes here] ?>

Boston's burgeoning Seaport District will finally have its first pharmacy when a CVS opens Sunday in the new Watermark Seaport building.

The store is one of a number of retail openings at the Watermark Seaport, an apartment building at 85 Seaport Blvd. at the intersection of Boston Wharf Road. It is part of a flurry of openings in at the location. In August, Shake Shack opened there, and YO! Sushi is expected to open soon, according to a spokeswoman for WS Development, which owns, leases, and manages the retail space.

A MiniLuxe is set to open before year's end, and a Better Bagels and Ben & Jerry's are expected in 2017.

The new CVS store and pharmacy span nearly 12,000 square feet and will be open seven days a week. CVS has said about 20 people will be employed there.
