Hema Upadhyay murdered: Chintan’s bail hearing deferred

The final arguments were to be heard on Friday, the matter will now be heard next week.

The bail hearing of artist Chintan Upadhyay at a Dindoshi sessions court has been deferred to October 25.

Claiming that the prosecution has no prima facie case against him beyond mere suspicion, Chintan, accused of murdering his wife Hema and her lawyer Harish Bhambhani, applied for bail last month. Though the final arguments were to be heard on Friday, the matter will now be heard next week.
