Anton Juan film to be shown in Chicago’s DePaul U

CHICAGO — A film by Notre Dame Professor of Theater and Film Dr. Anton Juan, will be shown Oct. 30 at DePaul University Lincoln Park Campus.

“Hinabing Pakpak ng Ating Mga Anak,” a full-length movie narrates the stories of poverty and of dearth of opportunity as children living in the Philippines fight for true survival.

FEATURED STORIES

It will be screened at the Student Center Hall 120-8, DePaul University Lincoln Park Campus located at 2250 N. Sheffield Avenue, Chicago, at 3:00 p.m. Admission is FREE.

The films showing is hosted by the Consulate General of the Philippines in partnership with the Asian Cultural Exchange (ACE) Club of DePaul University to mark Filipino American History Month (FAHM).
