Frank Ocean and Chance the Rapper were invited as special guests to President Barack Obama's last state dinner. The two artists also brought a special guest of their own.

Both of the rappers brought with them a parent as a special invited guest. Chance brought along his father, Ken Bennett, who once worked under Senator Obama. Ocean brought along his mother, Katonya Breaux.

Both parties sent out tweets expressing their joy of the evening. Chance tweeted, "Thanks Dad for raising me right." The tweet included a picture of the two, with the caption, "Look at us all fancy for the White House. I ain't even wearing a hat tonight #BlackBoyJoy." Meanwhile, Breaux tweeted, "blessed to have a son that includes me in his once in a lifetime events."
