Brothers arrested in kidnapping, murder of Brooklyn landlord

The alleged mastermind” behind the 2014 kidnapping and murder of a Williamsburg landlord was held without bail Friday in the sickening crime.

Erskine Felix, 38, was charged with first-degree kidnapping and second-degree murder in the 2014 death of father-of-seven Menachem Stark, whose body was found burned in a Dumpster, his hands and feet bound and a hood over his head.

“It appears the motive of the crime was to get money from the victim,” said prosecutor Christopher Blank. “[Felix] recruited other family members into it.”

Felix was arrested Thursday, along with his brother Kendall, 29.

Kendall was charged with hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence.

The arrests come weeks after their cousin Kendel Felix, 29, was found guilty of kidnapping and murder, for which he faces up to life in prison.

In a taped confession, Kendel placed himself and Erskine outside the office of Stark, 39, who employed the two men, stating their intent to rob him.

Menachem put up a fight that was caught on tape before being forced into a waiting minivan.

He died of suffocation when one of his kidnappers sat on his chest.
