    AICC secretaries will camps in Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee's different zones

    The secretaries will coordinate with the UPCC’s units at ground level and ensure good show of party’s different programme in the state’s various parts.

    NEW DELHI: As a part of its preparation for the 2017 UP assembly polls, All India Congress Committee (AICC) has deployed its nine secretaries in Uttar Pradesh as in-charge of UP Congress Committee's (UPCC’s) different zones. The secretaries will coordinate with the UPCC’s units at ground level and ensure good show of party’s different programme in the state’s various parts.

    According to a press release issued by the UPCC’s communication department, the party has deployed AICC Secretaries- Naseeb Singh, Shakeel Ahemad, Zuber Khan, Hanumant Rao- Avinash Pandey, Prakash Joshi, Rana Goswami, V Hanumant Rao and Lakshmi Sadho in Meerut, Bareilly, Agra, Lucknow, Faizabad-Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Allahabad and Jhansi zones respectively.

    UPCC has already placed its state-level functionaries in different districts as “Prabhari” (In-charge). Sources in UPCC said the party has about 110 units in cities and districts in UP.
