Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Oct 21 2016 6:49PM IT helps in reducing gap between people and government: RaghubarRanchi, Oct 21 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said the use of IT not only helps to reduce the gap between the people and the government but also helps to check corruption and the role of middlemen in the society. Participating in the Digital India Conclave here, he said stress is being accorded so that all the government departments make maximum use of IT. He said couple of years ago Jharkhand was known for its corruption. “However things are changing now and the state is being known as Digital Jharkhand,” he said adding that he wanted to make a skilled and educated Jharkhand for which it was important to eradicate poverty from the state. He said 4,404 panchayats will be linked with IT via e-village system.
