Akshay Kumar Helps Out An Old Friend, Extends Financial Support For His Kidney Transplant
We can never fall short of reasons to love Akshay Kumar, can we?
Apart from making the world a better place with his films, contribution, and thoughtful gestures, Akshay has now done something very humane again. Akshay has extended monetary help to Ravi Shrivastava, the ailing producer of his debut film. Apart from making more than 250 movies as a producer, Shrivastava also designed the posters for films like Salman’s Biwi Ho To Aisi, Teri Meherbaniyan, Hukumat, Tehelka and many more.
Reports claim that the aged producer is suffering from kidney failure and was in need of a transplant. When Akshay was in his struggling days, Shrivastava was the first producer to offer him a film - Dwarpaal.

Even though the film was shelved later, Shrivastava helped Akshay make his debut with movie Saugandh in 1991. Shrivastava was a well-known name in the industry but now lives in a state of utter poverty. Ever since his wife passed away years ago and daughter got married, there is no one to take care of the ailing producer. Even though Akshay was feeling guilty that he could not get in touch with the producer because of his professional commitments, Akshay is now doing all he can.
After he was contacted on Twitter, he tweeted,
Yes sir, my team has reached out to him...already taken care of 🙏🏻 https://t.co/14w1oS3k9d
