Hyderabad: Special Investigation Team of Hyderabad City Police had arrested Ismail and Arshad, residence of Saidabad and had produced them in the court. They were released by the court on bail.
It may be mentioned that in 2004 while Maulana Naseeruddin was being transported to Gujarat, Gujarat Police had opened fire on the Muslim youths who were protesting against his arrest. In the Police firing, Maulana Abdul Aleem’s son Mujahid Saleem was killed. While taking the funeral procession of Mujahid Saleem, suddenly riot erupted near Saidabad crossroads. Police registered cases against some youths under the charges of pelting stones on Police officials and damaging Govt. property. Many Muslim youths were arrested and 12-15 Muslim youths have been shown as absconding. Non-bailable warrants against them are pending. In this connection more Muslim youths are likely to be arrested soon. Police have planned to arrested the absconding youths.
