JAMMU, Oct 20: A team of monks led by Gyalwang Drukpa, who is on a mission to spread the message of communal amity and brotherhood across the country, concluded first phase of cycling expedition after travelling through Ladakh region at Kargil.
Gyalwang Drukpa and his team reached Sonamarg, where they were received by Chering Dorjay, Minister for Ladakh Affairs and Cooperatives and a team of officers from Ladakh, which included Tsering Angchuk, Excise Commissioner, J&K also.
The team after their overnight stay in Srinagar, left for continuing their expedition from Udhampur onwards.
