Rs 74 cr for parks

Fifty Swarna Jayanti parks with modern facilities, including an open gymnasium and specified area for yoga, would be set up in urban areas of Haryana. They would be set up at a cost of Rs 74 crore. Urban Local Bodies Minister Kavita Jain said the proposal has been approved by the CM. TNS

Residents Indri on Thursday held a rally against the use of Chinese goods. Minister of State for Food and Supplies Karandev Kamboj flagged off the rally and urged people to purchase goods made in India. Gangster gets 7-yr jail 

A local court sentenced gangster Vikas alias Billu, a resident of Chabri village, to seven years imprisonment on Thursday. He was also fined Rs 7,000. Vikas was convicted for snatching carbine-loaded magazine from a CIA cop on January 26, 2012. OC
