CM hikes fixed pay of employees of GUVNL and associated companies

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has decided to hike salaries of fixed salaried 5,423 Vidyut Sahayaks substantially.

GANDHINAGAR : Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has decided to hike salaries of fixed salaried 5,423 Vidyut Sahayaks substantially. As a result of karmayogi interest oriented decision of Mr. Rupani, fixed salary of Electrical Assistant Helpers’ level have been hiked. Accordingly, they will get Rs. 1,900 (7,100 to 9,000) in first year, Rs. 2,700 (7,800 to 10,500) in second year and in third year Rs.
3,400 (8,600 to 12,000).
Moreover, fixed salary of Junior Assistant and Plant Attendant Grade-1 also have been hiked. Accordingly, there will be Rs. 2,200 (7,800 to 10,000) in first year, Rs. 2,950 (8,550 to 11,500) in second year and Rs. 3,700 (9,300 to 13,000) in third year. While as per hike in fixed salary of Junior engineer, they will get Rs. 1,800 (19,750 to 21,550) in first year, Rs. 1,800 (21,750 to 23,550) in second year. Due to hike in salaries, GUVNL and Associated companies will bear a burden of Rs. 15.18 crore annually.
Rupani also took a decision of exemption of age and education qualification for the daily wagers and fixed pay workers completing 5 years in Junagadh Municipal Corporation.
Rupani decides to regulate approx 165 workers as per the representations made to him by Mayor and the employees of Municipal Corporation. Rupani in his feedback to the representation decided to regulate 165 workers as a diwali gift.
