Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial start in Manchester United team to face Fenerbahce

Wayne Rooney will start for Jose Mourinho's Manchester United in their Europa League clash with Fenerbahce at Old Trafford, while Anthony Martial is also recalled.

Martial is to lead the line for United with Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard and Rooney in behind the Frenchman as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcus Rashford drop to the bench.

Michael Carrick slots into the midfield alongside Paul Pogba for Mourinho's side as he shuffles his pack with seven changes after the Premier League clash with Liverpool on Monday night.

Leading the line for Fenerbahce will be Robin van Persie, who helped inspire United to their 20th league title in Sir Alex Ferguson's final season in charge of the club.
