President Obama helped Jerry Seinfeld launch his seventh season of “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee” late last year, at one point taking the wheel of a 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe as they drove around a secure Secret Service facility in Maryland. Now it’s Vice President Joseph R. Biden’s turn behind the wheel with another famous comedy legend.

Mr. Biden recently met up with Jay Leno to record a segment for the former “Tonight Show” host’s new CNBC program, titled “Jay Leno’s Garage.”

Mr. Leno released a 5-minute-long teaser video via Twitter on Wednesday, wherein Mr. Obama’s No. 2 took the comedian for a spin in his restored 1967 Corvette, which was a wedding gift from his late father.

Mr. Biden said his two sons had the engine rebuilt as a Christmas present, Jalopnik.com explained Wednesday, “and it’s only natural that he refers to his Corvette as the only car he’s ever loved. He claims that he ‘buried it’ up to 160 miles per hour when he was younger.”

Beau Biden, Mr. Biden’s son, died of brain cancer last year.

Mr. Biden’s segment will on the Nov. 9 premiere of “Jay Leno’s Garage” on CNBC at 10 p.m. Eastern.
