Serbia Responds to Russia’s Call, Sends Relief Supplies to Aleppo
NIS (Sputnik) – Serbia is going to send some 50 metric tons (about 55 US tonnes) including sugar, flour, oil, sleeping bags, blankets, medicines, clothes and shoes, Serbian Defense Ministry’s spokesman Jovan Krivokapic said on Thursday.

“That is a humanitarian action that shows the good, great soul of the Serbian people, Serbs’ nobility… That is a purely humanitarian action of Serbia aimed at providing Syrians suffering from terrorist threat, Syrian children, civilians in need with aid,” Russia Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin said.

He added that the humanitarian operation was fully in line with the international law.

On October 5, Russian air forces delivered Armenian humanitarian aid to Syria.
