Celtic 0–2 Borussia Mönchengladbach
(Stindl 57', Hahn 77')

Two errors from Kolo Toure gifted Borussia Mönchengladbach an invaluable victory over Celtic to keep their Champions League hopes alive.

Gladbach traveled to Scotland without key players Thorgan Hazard, Raffael and Andreas Christensen, but still dominated against a side that held Manchester City to a thrilling 3-3 draw two weeks ago.

Goalkeeper Craig Gordon kept Celtic in the game with a superb one-handed save, but it was only delaying the inevitable as Celtic struggled to contain a vibrant Gladbach attack.

The breakthrough eventually came courtesy of Toure's first error, with Andre Hahn pinching the ball off the Ivorian's toes and playing the ball back to Lars Stindl, who powered a low shot through the legs of Gordon.

Hahn put the result beyond doubt, seizing on a loose pass by Toure and steaming towards goal before poking beyond Gordon. The defeat leaves Celtic rooted to the bottom of Group C, with Gladbach still in with a hope of progressing to the last 16 after their first away win in Europe since 1977.

Bayern Munich 4–1 PSV Eindhoven
(Müller 13', Kimmich 21', Lewandowski 59', Robben 84' – Narsingh 41‘)

Bayern Munich ended a three-game winless streak with a convincing 4-1 victory over PSV Eindhoven.

Bayern took an early lead when Arjen Robben's quick corner caught PSV sleeping, and Thomas Müller calmly slotted the ball past PSV keeper Jeroen Zoet, who was raging at his players for their slack defending.

Carlo Ancelotti's side doubled their lead inside 20 minutes through, as Joshua Kimmich nodded in his seventh Bayern goal of the season from David Alaba's deflected cross.

PSV's misery was compounded when Gaston Pereiro beat the offside trap to roll the ball under Neuer, only for the flag to wrongly go up against him.

But just as Bayern were threatening to run away with the game, PSV's luck changed. Luciano Narsingh halved Bayern's advantage with a sensational run and finish, arrowing a shot towards the top corner, with Manuel Neuer unable to make the save.

Bayern re-established their two-goal cushion through Robert Lewandowski. The Pole nodded in to end his mini drought of five games without a goal after a trademark weaving run by Robben.

The Dutchman got on the scoresheet before the night was out, glancing in Thiago's lofted pass to make it four and underline Bayern's return to form.
