Southern superstar Rajnikanth, who recently returned from the US after undergoing treatment for his kidney related ailments has reportedly flown back for check up.
Rajnikanth had earlier returned to Chennai on July 25, he had joined back the shooting of his next film.
As per The IBT report, the superstar has been accompanied by a family member.
He has also underwent a kidney dialysis in Singapore few years back.
His next flick 2.0 is being made on budget of Rs 350 crore, the film also be released in Hindi and Telugu, apart from Tamil.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is playing vilain in the movie. Amy Jackson will play an important role, along with Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain.
Academy Award winner AR Rahman has directed the music for the film.
Rajnikanth had also met ailing Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalithaa in Apollo hopital, who is admitted there since Sptember 22. He was accompanied by his daughter Ashwarya Dhanush.
