It is also reported that the results may be out by October end. The Railway Recruitment Board conducted the Non-Technical Posts Exam from  March 28 to April 30, 2016. The aspirants who are waiting for the results can apply for other government jobs or prepare for the 2nd stage of the exam which is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The  notification for the RRB NTPC  (CEN 03/2015) exam was published in December 2015.  The notification aimed to recruit people for various posts which included assistant station master, clerk, goods guard, typist, apprentice and junior accounts assistant.  For preparing  for the exam,  the 2nd stage CBT exam, candidates need to answer  questions related  to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning. RRB recommends the name of the candidates and the appointments of the candidates are made by respective Zonal Railways after following due procedure. Candidates are required to note that the results of selection at every stage will be made available on the Notice Board of RRB in “The Employment News” and various news papers, both local & national through the Internet website or to the successful candidates through registered post. The recruitment system is computerised and functions impersonally without fear or favour. According to official website  on January 1985, Railway Service Commissions were renamed as Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) and in the year 1998, all RRBs came under the control of the Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRCB), which was set up in the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) to coordinate and streamline the working of RRBs.
