2 die as tractor overturns at construction site

VARANASI: Two teenage boys were killed when a tractor overturned near Varuna bridge under Cantonment police station on Wednesday.
According to police reports, the deceased were identified as, Sonu and Ajeet, and both of them worked as labourers and were residents of Ahmedpur area under Shivpur police station.
The duo were operating a tractor trolley on which a concrete-mixing machine was mounted.When the tractor reached near Varuna bridge the driver lost control on the steering wheel and the tractor trolley overturned.
Sonu and Ajeet, who was also a student of class XII, came under the same machine and died on the spot. Passers-by and the police tried to rescue the duo but were unable to rescue the bodies. Later, a crane was called to remove the mixing machine. Police has sent the bodies for post mortem.
