Fiji Dairy Limited has ventured into a new business known as Rewa Moochi Store which is specialised in selling frozen yoghurt. They are also selling smoothies, protein shakes and churros.

The store was officially opened yesterday at Damodar City in Suva.

Sundeep Kumar Balia, general manager for Fiji Dairy Limited, said they are trying to capture the attention of the public by promoting frozen yoghurt which is a healthier option for snack or dessert.

“We will be giving something extra to the locals in form of Frozen yoghurt, which is relatively new,” Mr Balia said.

Rewa Moochi Frozen Yoghurt is low in fat, has lower calories than all other treats, high in protein and calcium, and packed with probiotics that are good for your tummy.

“Our Yogurt has a sweet but tarty flavor that is going to get your taste buds ringing all year around,” he said.

“Our mission is to provide the community with a nutritional dessert alternative. We strive to promote the trend for a healthy and eco-friendly lifestyle.”

He said they chose to first open at Damodar City in Suva due to its location.

“Damodar City is closer to the National Stadium, USP and a lot of people go there for movies, shopping in the weekends and spending time with family therefore we think this is one of the best locations which would work for Fiji Dairy.”

Mr Balia further said, there are further expansion plans for the company in the near future.
