Man held over Weymouth intruder child sex attack

A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a young girl while allegedly trespassing in a house in Dorset.
The 25-year-old was arrested at the property in the Melcombe Regis area of Weymouth on Tuesday evening.
Dorset Police said he had been charged with sexual assault on a girl aged under 13. He also faces a charge of trespass on premises with intent to commit a sexual act.
Jervaise Jones, of no fixed address, appeared before Weymouth magistrates.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Bournemouth Magistrates' Court on 2 November.
