John Abraham is literally leaving no stone (or vehicle) unturned for Vipul Shah's Abhinay Deo-directed action thriller, 'Force 2'. Mirror had earlier reported (September 27) that the 43-year old actor had lifted a Mercedes Benz weighing over 1580 kg for the sequel. Now, we hear he has lent his voice to a song titled "Rang Laal" which was recorded a fortnight ago and shot a few days later.
"The song reflects the general state of mind in the country - when we're attacked, we will strike back.
It has been sung by a young singer named Dev Negi and features dialogues by John," says Vipul, adding that the number was conceptualised by Abhinay and will be a part of the film's narrative.

"John and Abhinay spent a lot of time on the song to identify the right tune and emotions and rehearsed for a few hours before giving the final shot."
Ask him about the song's genesis and Vipul reveals, "After we finished shooting the film, we wanted to do something more to convey its spirit but in a unique way. We shot the song on a set in Mumbai. Abhinay, with his experience as an ad filmmaker, has made beautiful use of the colour red in the visuals.
The film's leading lady Sonakshi Sinha is a part of the track as well.
