Mohali: Another snatching incident reported in Sect 41, cops begin probe

In some other case, the police arrested two persons identified as Sahil and Sonu, both resident of Mouli Jagran. The police officials claimed that with the arrest of two accused they have solved three cases of robbery and snatching which took place in the city.

According to police, the lavish life style of Sahil and Sonu forced them to indulge in crimes. Both were fond of visiting the posh hotels for dinners. During interrogation, they even disclosed that they robbed many roadside vendors especially the ice-cream sellers at night.

As per their modus-operandi they used to order ice-creams from them. They then use to scare the vendors by showing them their knives and rob them. With the robbed money they used to venture out for lavish dinners. Surprisingly, none of such incidents were reported by these vendors. Police also recovered two motor cycles and one mobile phone from the accused.
