Racing any car in the rain is a serious challenge. Racing a vintage Lotus sports racer at the notoriously treacherous Goowood circuit is on an entirely different plane of difficulty. At this year's Goodwood Revival, touring car champion Rob Huff put on a masterclass of car control behind the wheel of a Lotus 19.

The cars that race at the Goodwood Revival are priceless originals, but in great English spirit, a bit of rain doesn't get them down. Huff spends more time countersteering than going straight here, and yet, he still manages to snake his way around the field in his Oldsmobile-powered (!) Lotus.

There's a reason that owners of historic race cars only have the best drivers available race their machines around Goodwood.
