CEC inaugurates first election museum in India

“Gandhiji’s message about how even the poor can be powerful in a democracy is displayed through this fascinating museum,” said Dr Zaidi.

Chief Election Commissioner Dr Nasim Zaidi inaugurated the first election museum in the country Tuesday. The museum, which presents a historical account of electoral proceedings, aims to make people aware of the electoral legacy of India.

“Gandhiji’s message about how even the poor can be powerful in a democracy is displayed through this fascinating museum,” said Dr Zaidi.
