Niranjana's role in Manju Warrier film revealed
Actress Niranjana, who debuted in Mollywood as a bubbly girl in Mohanlal's Loham, is all set to do a bold role in Manju Warrier's C/O Saira Banu. The film, directed by Anthony Sony, will see her as a confidante to Manju's character.
On her role, the film's scriptwriter Shaan tells us, 'Niranjana plays Arundhati, an enthusiastic activist and a law student who studies along with Manju's son, enacted by Shane Nigam.
She is also his romantic interest and she is a very bold girl.'
In the movie, Shane plays Joshua Peter, an amateur photographer who is very passionate about his hobby. 'Their relationship is a crucial thread in the movie,' Shaan adds.
Revealing more details about Niranjana's character, Shaan says, 'Arundhati is a studious and responsible girl with revolution in her thoughts and deeds. She stands for her ideologies and at one point becomes the support for Manju's character.'
Meanwhile, Niranjana says that being a beginner in the industry, she considers it a great opportunity to be part of a film that has Manju Warrier and Amala Akkineni.
'I loved my character in the film when the director narrated it to me. She's a social activist and someone who is bolder than I am in real life. So playing the character will be a challenge,' she says.
The film has Manju as a postwoman and Amala as an advocate. The story revolves around a conflict of sorts between the duo.
