Alternative band ‘The F16s’ will perform on October 20, 9 pm onwards at The Humming Tree, 12th Main Road, Indiranagar.
The band hails from Chennai and their music echoes the melancholia that grapples with the mundaneness of everyday life in a town that serves very little outside of itself. With a couple of releases behind them, the band has now released their debut full-length album, ‘Triggerpunkte’, a nine-song offering.
Both lyrically and musically, the album meanders between reverb-heavy sentimentality and fast-paced assault. The music is populist, experimental, polished and multi-layered.
