Mohanlal's Pulimurugan has emerged victorious at the Kerala box office, drawing the attention of other leading Indian film industries. Now, it is evident as the success is inspiring the Malayalam flick to be remade in other languages.

The remake rights of four languages, including Tamil have been acquired by Ramesh of Abhishek Films. After lots of negotiations, both the parties have signed the deal for the best price. It has to be noted that Pulimurugan is being dubbed into international languages like Chinese, Vietnamese and English.

Coming to the Tamil remake, the speculations on who will star in the movie have already started doing rounds. It is because Mollywood movies have often attracted big names of Tamil. Hence, the buzz says that there is a strong chances of stars like Vikram, Suriya, Simbu or Dhanush starring in the Kollywood remake of Pulimurugan.

In the recent memory, a couple of Malayalam films, including Drishyam (Papanasam), How Old Are You (36 Vayadhinile) and Chennaiyil Oru Naal have been remade in Tamil. The remake rights of Mollywood films are often picked up by filmmakers for its strong content with moderate budget.

In case of Pulimurugan, the film has impressed the viewers with its mass elements backed by Mohanlal's electrifying screen presence. The action sequences is one of the highlights of the Malayalam film, which is written by Udayakrishna and directed by Vysakh. The Tomichan Mulakuppadam-produced film has Kamalini Mukherjee, Jagapati Babu, Lal, Vinu Mohan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Kishore and many others in the cast.

The film has Gopi Sunder's music, Shaji Kumar's cinematography and Johnkutty's editing. Pulimurugan was released on October 7 and has grossed over Rs 30 crore at the Kerala box office.
