Amber Rose got emotional as she cha-cha’d off into the sunset on Dancing with the Stars Monday night (Oct. 17)
Rose — who broke down in tears last week in rehearsals — struggled to keep it together again with partner Maks Chmerkovskiy as the pair prepared themselves to compete on “Latin Night.”
The choreographed cha-cha didn’t exactly set the judges on fire, but they each tried to find something positive in the performance, including guest Pitbull, who complemented her outfit. Julianne Hough wasn’t feeling the heat, however, and advised Rose to grab her legs and to give Chmerkovskiy a “smack.” The duo earned the lowest score of the night, with a 28 out of 40.
“Oh, I’m sad,” said Rose after learning she was eliminated. “It was such an amazing experience and people don’t know this about me, but I’m really shy in a lot of ways, and I think that showed on the ballroom floor. I tried my best.”

Rose showed signs of strain on the Oct. 10 episode that featured the theme, “Most Memorable Year.” Rose chose 2013 — the year she married ex-husband Wiz Khalifa and gave birth to their son, Sebastian.
In a preview prior to the dance, Rose admitted she felt “overwhelmed” the week before.
“The only thing that stands in Amber’s way is Amber,” mused Chmerkovskiy. “I’m frustrated.”
At one point, he was so aggravated he punched a mirror, prompting Rose to walk out of rehearsal with the declaration, “I’m going home.” The two patched things up the next day, but it wasn’t enough to stay in the competition.
