Jyothika is still Tamil cinema's favourite actress, here's proof

There was a time when Jyothika reigned over the Kollywood industry, not because she was Suriya's wife but because she was a star herself. She is like the Kajol of the Kollywood industry, known for her versatility and spontaneity before the camera. Like some fans say, she's the queen of expressions. But after she got married to Suriya, she took a break for nearly nine years and came back to films only last in 36 Vayadhinile. The film was a runaway hit. And that's when she proved, she had never left. She is rocking the industry even in her second innings. She is now working on her next project Magalir Mattum where she plays a documentary filmmaker on a mission. The first look was recently out and she looked powerfully stylish. The film is directed by Bramma of Kutram Kadhital fame. The movie also stars 3 other women in supporting roles Urvasi, Bhanupriya and Saranya Ponvannan . The makers have already completed the first schedule in Chennai. They are now off to North India for their second schedule. They will be shooting in Agra, UP and Ghaziabad. Also from what we have heard, Suriya might make a cameo appearance in the film. Fans have been wanting the real life couple to come together for a movie and at least, it might just partly come true.
