4 dists to have cow shelters, says Dhankar

BHIWANI, OCTOBER 17

State Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister OP Dhankar said today that land had been identified for developing cow shelters in Hisar, Panipat and Bhiwani to overcome the problem of stray cattle. One such shelter had already been established in Hisar. Besides such shelters, “Pashu Fatak” would also be set upin every village.

The minister made this announcement while redressing public grievances at Bamla village today.

He urged the people to register themselves under schemes like the ‘Pradhanmantri Jeevan Suraksha Bima Yojana’, ‘Pradhanmantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana’ and the ‘Pradhanmantri Fasal Bima Yojana’

Dhankar said that it was for the first time in the history of Haryana that educated panchayats had been voted into power and all elected representatives were keen for development of their villages.
