HC defers hearing till tomorrow

CHANDIGARH: Four years after the Punjab and Haryana High Court confirmed death sentence awarded to the two assassins of Hoshiarpur boy Abhi Verma, a Bench today fixed October 19 as the next date of hearing.

Four years after the Punjab and Haryana High Court confirmed death sentence awarded to the two assassins of Hoshiarpur boy Abhi Verma, a Bench today fixed October 19 as the next date of hearing.

Justice Rameshwar Malik has already ordered the production of the entire record on the petition filed by convicts Jasbir Singh and Vikram Singh for staying the execution of the death warrants.
