Tensions continue to flare on Chicago Fire over the death of Jimmy’s brother, but now some surprising members of Firehouse 51 are getting taking sides in the feud.
Ever since Danny died during a fire at the end of last season, Jimmy (Steve McQueen) has put the blame squarely on Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) and he hasn’t been afraid to say so. However, that’s about to get him in hot water with his fellow firefighters.
In The Hollywood Reporter‘s exclusive video from Tuesday’s episode, Herrmann (David Eigenberg) and Jimmy nearly come to blows at the bar when Boden’s name comes up.
“He’s the incompetent son of a bitch that sent Danny back into that collapse,” Jimmy tells a lady friend at Molly’s about Boden. “He sent him to his death.”
The words get Herrmann’s blood boiling and he quickly goes from zero to 60. “You want to trash talk my chief, my friend? You take it out of my bar,” he tells Jimmy defiantly. “I’m done tip-toeing around this punk.”
Things between Jimmy and Herrmann only escalate further from there. Check out the exclusive video to see the tense confrontation unfold:
Chicago Fire airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
