CM conduct aerial survey, inspect works of Polavaram project

Eluru, Oct 17 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu conducted an aerial survey and inspected the works of Polavaram project, being constructed across the Godavari river in West Godavari district today.
The Chief Minister later went to the project site and inspected the construction works including spillway. WRM Chief Engineer Venkateswara Rao explained the Chief Minister about the progress of works.
Mr.Naidu directed Engineers and officials to further speed up the construction of Polavaram project, considered to be the lifeline of Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, Water Resources Management Minister D Umamaheshwara Rao, Woman and Chief Welfare Minister P Sujata and a host of MLAs and other officials welcomed the Chief Minister when he arrived at the project.
