NNA - Caretaker Minister of Labor Selim Jreisati said that they (Change and Reform bloc) are open to legal and constitutional solutions away from politicization.
"The scene has not changed regarding the parliamentary session tomorrow which the bloc considers legal although they have complaints over some of its items," Jreisati told "Voice of Lebanon- Freedom and Dignity" Monday morning.
Jreisati added that the constitutional formula mentioned by Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri which is related to extending the period of the Army command is not known, pointing out that if there are any formulas, they would be open to any legal solutions.
Commenting on Speaker Nabih Berri words that the parliament is "master of itself" and that some of the agenda items can be cancelled, Jreisati said, "this is true but it does not commit deputies to change the agenda and there are still some practical steps which should be cancelled before starting to legislate some sensitive issues."
He pointed out that the executive authority is the one that appoints the security leaders, saying that the outgoing cabinet is not fully disabled and is operating in accordance with the constitutional concept of caretaking.
He added that nothing prohibit the outgoing cabinet from appointing the security leaders, adding that the disagreement is not theoretical but political.
