18 Years Of KKHH: Karan Johar Thanks Adi Chopra, SRK, Skips Kajol's Name

One of Bollywood's best of friends, Karan Johar and Kajol are no longer as warm to each other as they were before. Apart from the big Diwali clash between KJo's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Kajol's husband and actor Ajay Devgn's Shivaay, there are many layers to this cold behaviour.

Recently, Karan's first film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, completed 18 years . The film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol was one of the biggest blockbusters of late 90's. Karan took to twitter to thank the ones who made him and the film a big success. However, while thinking he missed the name of film's protagonist and his former best friend Kajol.

Johar tweeted, " #18YearsOfKuchKuchHotaHai .... the film that will always remain close to my heart......@iamsrk and Adi made my cinema dream come true...."

Well, if that's not odd, both the celebrities didn't wish each other on their birthdays this year and have not been spotted together for a very long lime. They have been giving each other cold shoulder for quite some time now.

A few weeks back, Ajay Devgn confirmed that the warmth and affection between Karan and Kajol, is longer there and cited a 'personal' reason behind it. While many say that the clash between Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay is the reason behind their tiff, there is a high possibility that Kajol's decision to work with Rohit Shetty in Dilwale might have hurt Karan.

Kajol has always been Karan's lucky charm and he has found ways to get her in his every film, even if for half a minute. But, of course in a film full of cameos (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil) Kajol is missing.

The actress didn't tweet anything on the occasion, except retweeting Johnny Lever's tweet thanking her. Now, you don't do it to your blockbuster film without a solid reason.

Let's just hope this is a rough patch both best friends are going through and come out of it soon because we not only want them to work together again but see them pulling each other's leg in the new season of Koffee with Karan.
