Arunachal Pradesh governor
Shanmuganathan has asked the state cabinet to ensure that all development programmes and projects were implemented on time.
The governor met the cabinet ministers at the
Raj Bhavan on Thursday, an official statement said on Friday.
Stating that he wanted to improve the relationship between the governor and the state government, Shanmuganathan insisted on holding regular meetings with the ministers to facilitate exchange of ideas.
Further, the governor exhorted the ministers to pay special attention to the Centre's people-oriented programmes such as Skill India and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Earlier, chief minister
Pema Khandu called on governor Shanmuganathan at the Raj Bhavan and discussed all development issues.
Khandu briefed Shanmuganathan on his recent tour to the national capital and the result of his meetings with the Union ministers.
