Gagan conducts extensive tour of RS Pura Constituency

JAMMU, Oct 16: M.L.A  R.S Pura, Dr.Gagan Bhagat  conducted an extensive tour of his Constituency and inspected pace of various ongoing developmental works in the area.
The M.L.A visited the villages of Phinder ,Gazipur Kullian, Kirpind,Makhanpur Gujran Chak Bala, Kalyana Gagian and inspected R.S Pura and Dhindey Kalan road being macadamized to connect border town with Jammu city. On its completion the road would provide connectivity to sevral people of the area, along with the tourists who come to Suchetgarh Border.
Dr.Gagan Bhagat also inspected work on R.S Pura ,Dablehar and Arnia road which was taken up by B.R.O. He  Inaugurated Rs.5 lakh developmental work at Village Indiranagar under Convergence Scheme of C.D.S with MGNREGA which was a long pending demand of the inhabitants of the village, besides  developmental works were started at village Phinder, Gagian and Kalyana Plots where an amount of Rs 12 Lakh, Rs 2 Lakh and Rs 4 lakh will be spent respectively through various schemes including C.D.S, MGNREGA, Convergence and B.A.D.P. These works were very important as the area has been constantly overlooked by the previous Government, said the MLA in a statement issued here today.
The Legislator also announced the up gradation of Keer Pind to Laswara road under City Road Fund,along with Rathana Morh to Salehar road and the work will be started very soon within next three weeks. The M.L.A also visited the Devi Dwara temple near R.S Pura where a program on promotion of traditional Indian culture “Karva Choth Milan Samaroh” was organized by the B.J.P Mahila Morcha. He complimented the workers for their sincere efforts in the revival of the traditional Indian culture for which the Bharat is known in the whole world. He also assured the gathering  for on-spot and continuous development works in the area and above all quality and improved standard of work with latest technology will be done by the concerned department or contractors.
He appealed to the local youths to participate in the nation building process and stay away from drugs.
