Youth invites minor to watch TV, rapes her

A man with a criminal record allegedly raped his five-year-old neighbour, who was watching television in his house at Yashodhara Nagar on Saturday. The 22-year-old accused has been identified as Mohd Asif Nisar.
The man was alone at his residence when he forced himself on the survivor. She disclosed the incident to her aunt who then informed her mother.
An offence of rape has been registered under The Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.Nisar was nabbed on Sunday.
Cops said, the survivor’s mother was visiting relatives at Hasanbag on Saturday morning while her father was at work. Her six-year-old brother was playing in the vicinity while she watched television with her friends at Nisar’s place.
Nisar allowed the other children to leave his house except for the survivor. “He forced her to have oral sex,” said API D A Hood. The survivor managed to escape to her aunt’s place in the vicinity. Nisar had fled from the spot by then, said cops.
The mother informed the control room. Cops then registered the complaint and sent the minor for medical examination. Nisar’s family members were also quizzed.
