Shoot-out staged by victim: Cops
Mhow: Kishanganj police on Friday said that a shootout that took place on October 5, was staged by the victim. They said he had hatched the plot and wanted to put the blame on his uncle whom he had become enemies with.
ASP (rural) Vivek Singh said on October 5, Kishanganj police received information that a youth had been shot and was lying on the road near veterinary college.
As soon as they reached, the victim was rushed to hospital. He was identified as Mohd Hussein, 25, a resident of Devpuri colony in Mhow. A case was registered against unidentified person under sections 341 and 307 of IPC.
While the accused were being interrogated, it was found that Hussein's uncle Liyakat and cousin Samir were frightened. They revealed there was a dispute with Hussein over property in Azad Nagar area in Indore and on several occasions threatened them that he would frame them in a false case.
