New voters can now register themselves till October 21

This new voter list will be used for the 2017 PCMC municipal elections. Around 70,960 voters had enrolled their names in the voter list when the period for enrollment expired on October 14.

Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad municipal commissioner Dinesh Waghmare has appealed to eligible people to enroll their names in the voters' list as the Election Commission of India has extended the period for enrolment of names up to October 21.
This new voter list will be used for the 2017 PCMC municipal elections. Around 70,960 voters had enrolled their names in the voter list when the period for enrollment expired on October 14.
The number of voters in three assembly constituencies of Pimpri, Chinchwad and Bhosari in the city was 10.68,371 as on January 16, 2016 which increased to 10,81,010 as on September 16, 2016.
People residing in the Chinchwad assembly constituency have to register their names at the municipal school in Thergaon near the water tank. The people residing in the Pimpri assembly constituency must enroll themselves at Dr. Hedgewar Bhavan near Akurdi railway station.
Those residing in the Bhosari assembly constituency will have to sign up at the Annasaheb Magar stadium in Pimpri.
The people residing in the Bhor-Velha-Mulshi assembly constituency have to register themselves with the sub-divisional officer at Bhor.
Pimpri Chinchwad residents can also enroll their names in the voter list at the six zonal offices and 14 colleges.
