‘Russian Trump’: Hillary Clinton Will Start World War 3, ‘Be The Last U.S. President Ever’

One of Russian president Vladimir Putin’s most staunch supporters, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a self-described Donald Trump supporter, says that if Democratic Party nominee for president of the United States Hillary Clinton gets elected, she will “be the last U.S. president ever.” The “Russian Trump” reasons that only the Republican Party nominee, the aforementioned Trump, can keep the world at peace, while Clinton will drag the entire planet into a devastating World War 3.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, an ultra-nationalist member of Russia’s representative assembly, the Duma, sat down with Reuters for an interview and wasted no words on casting former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as a very poor choice for president of the United States. At the same time, he had nothing but praise for the man both critics and supporters compare him to — billionaire businessman and anti-establishment candidate Donald Trump.

While a good many Russians see Zhirinovsky as a buffoonish character who utters outrageous statements for their popular appeal, some, like Putin, find him a political asset and ally. In fact, the Russian president awarded Zhirinovsky a top state award for his political achievements last month after his party, the nationalist Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), carried the third-most votes in the national elections.

Labeling Hillary Clinton as “an evil mother-in-law” that showed as Secretary of State (a post she held in the Obama administration from 2009-2013) she was unfit to be president, Zhirinovsky described her as a person who “craves power.”

“Her view is that Hillary is the most important person on the planet, that America is an exceptional country, as Barack Obama said,” said Zhirinovsky. “That’s dangerous. She could start a nuclear war.”

And if the “evil mother-in-law” line wasn’t stereotypically sexist enough, Zhirinovsky was not above going full-tilt chauvinist in his reasoning for keeping Clinton out of the Oval Office.

“Most Americans should choose Trump because men have been leading for millions of year [sic]. You can’t take the risk of having one of the richest, most powerful countries led by a woman president.”

Some detractors of the male-dominance-preference would point out that the “millions of years” of male leadership has brought the world to the point of environmental and nuclear annihilation. In fact, as was reported by the Inquisitr, physicist Brian Cox recently pointed out that the likeliest reason humanity has never encountered incontrovertible proof of the existence of aliens or at least made first contact is due to intelligent civilizations progressing to the point where they destroy themselves instead of finding solutions to persevere and proliferate. He specifically noted that humanity would likely join this graveyard of alien civilizations by political or environmental means because of its seeming inability to harness its progress in a more beneficial manner.

The Russian Trump, who says he met Donald Trump in 2002, also bases his election reasoning on current international politics.

“Relations between Russia and the United States can’t get any worse. The only way they can get worse is if a war starts.”

In this regard, Zhirinovsky is likely correct. The saber-rattling between the U.S. and Russia has grown loud enough to include nuclear war intonations. As the Inquisitr has reported, both the U.S. and Russia have committed to modernizing their nuclear weapons arsenals. Russia recently pulled out of a nuclear weapons non-proliferation treaty it co-signed with the United States in 2010. The western border of Russia has become a hotbed of military exercise activity, with the latest reports indicating that Moscow has deployed nuclear ballistic missiles just east of its border with Lithuania. Russia has also resumed nuclear bomber patrols just outside American airspace, something that hasn’t occurred since the Cold War ended in the early 1990s. And tensions became even worse as the U.S. and Russia broke off cease-fire negotiations in the Syrian civil war, an area where the two nuclear powers stand at odds on faction support.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky told Reuters that voting for Hillary Clinton was a vote for World War 3.

“Americans voting for a president on Nov. 8 must realize that they are voting for peace on Planet Earth if they vote for Trump. But if they vote for Hillary it’s war. It will be a short movie. There will be Hiroshimas and Nagasakis everywhere.”

Of course, this is not the image Clinton has promoted of herself in the election. In fact, it has been quite the opposite. Her political ads have placed Donald Trump in the role of the individual most likely to involve the U.S. in a catastrophic war. One ad in particular paints Trump, using his own outspoken words against him, as a political hothead with poor diplomatic skills and a temperament that should be kept away from the nuclear launch codes.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, unlike Donald Trump, is a Russian political insider, having sat in the Duma for two decades. But like Trump, he cultivates an air of anti-liberalness and has the support of the working class of the Russian Federation. He and President Putin have both praised Trump, something, at least with regard to Putin, the Republican candidate has reciprocated.

As Fortune magazine has pointed out, Trump’s continuing laudatory remarks regarding Putin has given both political parties pause. When asked about it by NBC’s Matt Lauer at a September election forum, Trump said, “If (Putin) says great things about me, I’m going to say great things about him.” He went on to say that “the man has very strong control over a country. Now, it’s a very different system and I don’t happen to like the system, but certainly in that system, he’s been a leader. Far more than our president has been a leader.”

According to Real Clear Politics‘ presidential general election poll average, Hillary Clinton at present has 6.7 percent lead over Donald Trump.
