Aurangabad MP to visit Portugal, Spain

AURANGABAD: Aurangabad MP Chandrakant Khaire will visit Portugal and Spain as a part of the Indian Goodwill Delegation of Parliamentarians led by union minister of parliamentary affairs and minister of chemicals and fertilizer – Ananth Kumar. Khaire is among twelve senior parliamentarians who are selected for the tour. He will be leaving for Portugal on Sunday. The purpose of the goodwill delegation is to utilize their services in projecting country’s policies, programmes and achievements in different fields with their counterparts.
Between October 16 and 18, the delegates will visit Portugal’s capital Lisbon and coastal town Cascais.They will also meet various senior ministers besides interacting with members of the Portugal –India Parliamentary Friendship group. The delegation will proceed for Spain on October 19 and meet various dignitaries till October 22. In Spain, the delegation will visit the capital city - Madrid and Valladolid. At Madrid delegation will visit Lower House (Congress) of Madrid and will meet the members of the board. The two-nation visit will come to an end on October 23.
