The New York Post has reported that Andrew Lloyd Webber's Norma Desmond musical, "Sunset Boulevard," starring Glenn Close, has been confirmed for a Broadway revival at the Palace Theater this January.

Citing financial concerns due to orchestra size, the revival retained an uncertain future as of late. However, thanks to some fiscal retooling, the producers have adjusted the size of the orchestra from 50 players to 40 to ensure the production's monetary viability.

Close portrayed the lead role of Norma Desmond in the 1995 production of the show and picked up a Tony Award for Best Lead Actress in a Musical. Lloyd Webber also received a Tony for Best Score, while "Sunset Boulevard" won Best Musical. Despite the accolades however, the show never recouped its initial $20 million capitalization.
