Shilpi Sharma to play an actress in her Mollywood debut
Actress Shilpi Sharma, who has been part of projects in Telugu and Kannada industries, is all set to debut in Mollywood.
The Delhi-based artiste will be seen in Asif Ali’s 'Thrissivaperur Kliptham', directed by Ratheish Kumar. The movie’s shoot has already started and the actress will join the crew later this month.
A visibly excited Shilpi says, “It’s been my dream to act in a Malayalam film, as Mollywood movies are well-known for their stories and talented technicians.
And that’s why several Malayalam movies have been remade into other languages. I will start shooting for the film on October 30.”
Shilpi plays an actress in the movie. “It’s a performance-oriented role. My character is a popular film star, who is often termed the queen of the film industry. She is the dream girl of Asif Ali’s character. Though she is manipulative, she also has a good heart,” says Shilpi, adding, “It has always been a dream of mine to play an actress in a film! I’m so glad that my debut Malayalam project offered me the opportunity for the same.”
Shilpi was part of the Telugu film Green Signal, and also the 3D Kannada horror film Aakramana.
The actress is also gearing up for a Hindi project. “As of now, I can’t reveal more about it,” she signs off.
