NEW DELHI: ZTE is all set to launch a new smartphone under its nubia sub-brand in China on October 17. As per rumours, the company will likely launch the nubia Z11 mini S, an upgrade to the Z11 mini lunched earlier. Others details regarding the unknown device aren’t known yet, but an interesting leak suggesting a dual-camera setup at the back has surfaced online. The leaked image showed on Chinese social networking website Weibo, allegedly showing the unannounced nubia smartphone. It also highlights the metal construction of the device.
Along with this, an AnTuTu benchmark listing highlighting the unannounced smartphone’s camera details hints at the device as a competitive imager. It lists the phone as having a 23MP rear camera and a 13MP front-facing unit.
ZTE showcased its flagship smartphone - Z11, at the IFA 2016 event in Berlin, Germany. Boasting a bezel-less design, the nubia Z11 sports 5.5-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded via microSD cards. The dual-SIM capable Z11 has a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera with a wide angle lens. It comes with a fingerprint sensor and offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. There’s also a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge support.
