Congress already preparing for 2018 Rajasthan polls: Sachin Pilot

Bikaner, Oct 14 :  Rajasthan Congress Chief Sachin Pilot has said his party has already started preparing for the 2018 elections, even as he accused the Vasundhara Raje government of “failing” to address the problems of the people. “People are waiting to exploit their chance in the upcoming elections.

Our party workers have already started working to highlight the problems to the government and trying to find solutions,” he said. Addressing a meeting of State Congress Working Committee here, he said the BJP government is “more concerned” about the “problems of the palace” than those of people. “Instead of focusing on the problems of general public like those of water, electricity, and the price rise, the government is busy solving the problems of the palace,” he added. When asked about the ongoing “tussle” within the party, leading to the absence of prominent leaders like Ashok Ghelot and PC Joshi from the meeting, Pilot replied, “He is getting ample support as the party chief”. Ghelot earlier tweeted, he had to attend a wedding ceremony so could not take part in the meeting.
