Sampla condemns burning of Modi, Shah’s effigies on Dussera in JNU

Chandigarh, Oct 14 (UNI) Union minister and Punjab BJP chief Vijay Sampla today condemned the burning of an effigy of Ravan in JNU campus with visages of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah pasted on it.
The video of the incident went viral on social media and has created a political storm. Members of the Congress-affiliated National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) are said to be behind this act.
Denouncing the incident Mr Sampla said, "Congress president Sonia Gandhi should immediately apologise for this dastardly act and take strict action against the NSUI members. By seeking a proof of the surgical strikes, Kejriwal has become a hero in Pakistan and now Sonia and Rahul Gandhi are trying to join his league by engaging their hoodlums.
